At Amigo, we are dedicated to provide an intimate service, with over half a century of history. Amigo was established by Mr. Wing-chung Yeung in the chaotic year of 1967 and after relocating to Wong Nai Chung Road near the Happy Valley Racecourse in 1976, our location has remained unchanged ever since. Within our two-story restaurant, we want you to feel frozen in time in our classic European decor, each wall embellished with paintings collected by Yeung on his frequent travels including works by William Russell Flint. Our aesthetic coming alive through our red velvet seating, carved cedar chairs, and tables adorned with vintage Christofle silverware engraved with our Amigo emblem.
We wish to continue his legacy without abandoning the internal logic that made Amigo distinct in the first place, and honour the passion he devoted such immense care into.
